Blessed Birthday!
Poor sweet Abigail awoke on her first birthday with a stomach bug that had plagued the house all week.
She was not herself for most of the day, but the sickness was short-lived and we were able to celebrate with her the next day.

As Henry and I forged a sword (paper towel tube) with "Thor's Hammer" (Trio blocks,) Abigail tried to get in on the action and grabbed away the new sword.
"No Abigail! This is the strongest sword for mankind, I'm man-kind, you're just...girl-ugly."

Oh My!
Says Henry as he emerges from his room during quiet/nap time for the umpteenth time, "Mother, I (gesturing to himself) personally have been thinking that if I go to bed well, I will get my games back."
Me thinks that naptime today isn't happening :(
